The BUSSE Fly Mask COMBI PLUS protects your horse's eyes, ears and nostrils reliably from annoying flies. It attaches directly to a halter, allowing time-saving fitting and removal alongside haltering – ideal for paddock, pasture and everyday stable use.
The generously cut eye protection made from close-meshed netting provides plenty of room around the eyes without restricting vision. It's complemented by a firmly integrated nose protection made from shapeable, close-meshed netting for extra coverage in the sensitive nasal area. The headpiece and ears are made from soft, elastic nylon/elastane material for comfort and a secure fit. Soft synthetic fleece at the forehead edge prevents rub marks and keeps flies out, while elastic inserts on the sides and nose bridge ensure a snug yet comfortable fit. The mask is breathable and also well suited to horses and ponies with a lot of mane and forelock.

The mask attaches to the halter via velcro at the cheek and poll area and fits most common halters. Always check the correct fit of both halter and mask.
Which horses is the COMBI PLUS best suited for?
It suits horses and ponies that need nose protection in addition to eye protection, as well as those with lots of mane and forelock, since the mask sits on the halter rather than the head.
How is the nose closure adjusted?
The nose closure is made from soft, elastic material and can be individually adjusted with a velcro fastener.

A fly mask has to fit well to be able to help. Otherwise damage may occur. The fit must fit the horse/pony's head. You can make a final adjustment using any setting options on the product. Even with an optimally fitted fly mask, the fit must be checked regularly, conscientiously and professionally and corrected if necessary. If the fly mask slips, vision can be limited or lost. For the horse, a flight animal, this can lead to panic and cause accidents. The ideal seat can be jeopardized by, for example, rubbing in the head area or conspecifics kept in groups. The use of fly masks is not recommended in such individual cases. Check the fur and skin regularly for chafing. Even with optimally fitting fly masks, these can be caused by foreign substances (e.g. stones, insects) between the mask and the horse. The risk of skin irritation increases due to sweat. Clean the mask regularly.
