The BUSSE Fly Mask FLY BUCKLER GAP II gives your horse reliable protection against insects around the eyes and ears without compromising comfort. Perfect for paddock and pasture, wherever a well-fitting fly mask is needed.
The headpiece is made from soft, elastic nylon/elastane material that ensures a secure fit, while the well-ventilated mesh ears add extra comfort. The generous cut around the neck prevents slipping, and the fine-mesh eye protection leaves plenty of room around the eyes so your horse's vision stays unrestricted. Soft faux fur on the forehead area helps prevent rub marks.

FAQ:
How do I find the right size?
Measure your horse's head circumference and compare it with BUSSE's size chart (Mini-Shetty to XFull). The mask should sit snugly without pinching.
How is the fly mask fastened?
It closes at the jaw area with two Velcro straps that can be individually adjusted to your horse's head.
Will my horse's vision be affected?
No, the generously cut fine-mesh eye protection leaves enough space around the eyes so vision remains unrestricted.

For the benefit of your horse!
A fly mask has to fit well to be able to help. Otherwise damage may occur. The fit must fit the horse/pony's head. You can make a final adjustment using any setting options on the product. Even with an optimally fitted fly mask, the fit must be checked regularly, conscientiously and professionally and corrected if necessary. If the fly mask slips, vision can be limited or lost. For the horse, a flight animal, this can lead to panic and cause accidents. The ideal seat can be jeopardized by, for example, rubbing in the head area or conspecifics kept in groups. The use of fly masks is not recommended in such individual cases. Check the fur and skin regularly for chafing. Even with optimally fitting fly masks, these can be caused by foreign substances (e.g. stones, insects) between the mask and the horse. The risk of skin irritation increases due to sweat. Clean the mask regularly.
