BUSSE Fly Mask FLY BUCKLER GAP PLUS – All-Round Protection for Eyes, Ears and Nostrils

The BUSSE Fly Mask FLY BUCKLER GAP PLUS keeps flies and insects away from your horse without limiting vision or breathing. The soft, stretchy nylon/elastane headpiece ensures a secure fit, while the generously cut eye protection made from fine mesh fabric gives plenty of room for an unobstructed view.

Ideal for everyday use on the paddock or pasture: the permanently integrated nose net made from fine, shapeable mesh reliably keeps flies away from the sensitive nostril area. Well-ventilated ears made from soft mesh material add extra comfort on hot summer days, and the skin-friendly faux fur on the forehead prevents rubbing. Thanks to the cut-out for the forelock and elastic edge finishing, the mask stays securely and comfortably in place even during movement.

Warning/safety information

For the benefit of your horse!

A fly mask has to fit well to be able to help. Otherwise damage may occur. The fit must fit the horse/pony's head. You can make a final adjustment using any setting options on the product. Even with an optimally fitted fly mask, the fit must be checked regularly, conscientiously and professionally and corrected if necessary. If the fly mask slips, vision can be limited or lost. For the horse, a flight animal, this can lead to panic and cause accidents. The ideal seat can be jeopardized by, for example, rubbing in the head area or conspecifics kept in groups. The use of fly masks is not recommended in such individual cases. Check the fur and skin regularly for chafing. Even with optimally fitting fly masks, these can be caused by foreign substances (e.g. stones, insects) between the mask and the horse. The risk of skin irritation increases due to sweat. Clean the mask regularly.
