The Wintec Isabell Icon is a dressage saddle developed together with Isabell Werth. It is aimed at ambitious dressage riders and suits training horses at every level. The deep, narrow seat brings you close to your horse, keeps you in balance and lets you focus on precise aids.
It comes fitted with a black gullet plate in gullet width 30 (Medium), suitable for average backs. With the EASY-CHANGE system you can swap gullet plates and risers yourself. The CAIR air cushions spread your weight evenly across the horse's back. Adjustable stirrup bars and Flexibloc knee blocks let you set stirrup leathers and leg position to suit your posture.

Which gullet plate is fitted to the saddle?
The saddle comes with a black gullet plate in gullet width 30 (Medium), which suits average backs. Use the WINTEC measuring template to find out which gullet plate your horse needs, then change it yourself with the EASY-CHANGE system. For broader backs there are the wide WINTEC models with a lilac gullet plate in gullet width 36. Wide gullet plates (light lilac to purple) may only be fitted to wide saddles.
Can I remove the overgirth?
Yes. The movable overgirth can be repositioned or removed completely if needed. It keeps the saddle flap close to the horse so your lower leg stays quiet.
How do I care for Equi-Suede?
The top material is resistant to water and dirt. You can wipe it down or hose it off, no leather balm needed.
