Agrarzone Sheep Feed Pellets is a pelleted concentrate feed for sheep and goats that you feed alongside hay, grass and pasture. The 4.5 mm pellets carry the complete mixture in every single piece, so no animal can pick out individual ingredients and every animal gets the same feed.

One point matters for mixed flocks: this feed contains no added copper. Sheep tolerate far less copper than goats, which is why feeds formulated purely for goats are often unsuitable for them. Here you can feed both species from the same sack. The raw materials come from the region and are suitable for GMO-free food production.

Feeding recommendation:

The pellets supplement the basic ration rather than replacing it. Hay, grass and pasture remain the foundation. The concentrate covers additional needs, for example in late pregnancy, during lactation or when pasture growth is poor. As a rule of thumb from feeding practice, concentrate should not exceed around 40 percent of the daily ration so that roughage makes up the main part.

How much your animal actually needs depends on breed, weight and performance. Start with small portions and increase gradually over one to two weeks. Fresh water should always be available.

Pellets or muesli, which suits better?
In pellets the complete mixture sits in every piece, so no animal can pick out single ingredients. In larger groups with timid animals that is the advantage. In muesli the components stay visible and coarsely structured, which appeals more to fussy eaters.
