The AKO impact insulator is the practical solution when you need to extend or repair your electric fence quickly. It fits metal and fibreglass posts as well as structural steel rods with a diameter of 6-12 mm (round or oval) and works with wire, rope and tape up to 20 mm. That makes it suitable for the most common fencing systems on pasture and farm.

Instead of fiddly screwing, you simply hammer the insulator onto the post – at any height you like. The impact-resistant, UV-stabilised plastic makes it particularly robust against weather and mechanical stress.
