The Waldhausen leather saddle girth with ECO Wool is made for saddles with short girth straps and combines high-quality leather with a removable wool cover. Its anatomical shape spreads pressure evenly and leaves room behind the elbow – important for horses that are sensitive in the girth area.

Elastic inserts on both sides give with every breath while still holding the saddle securely in place. A central snap hook takes side reins. The soft ECO Wool cover attaches with hook-and-loop tape, prevents rubbing and pulls off easily for washing.

Which girth length do I need?
Measure your current girth from buckle end to buckle end. Girths for short straps usually measure between 110 and 145 cm.

What are the elastic inserts for?
They give as the horse breathes and stop the girth from constricting under effort – while the saddle still stays securely in place.

Can the ECO Wool cover be washed?
Yes. It attaches with hook-and-loop tape, comes off easily and washes at 30 °C – do not spin dry or tumble dry.
