Do I still need a hoof pick?
Yes. The pick removes packed dirt and stones from the sole and the grooves, the brush clears the fine residue so you can inspect the hoof.

Can I use it on the coronet band?
Yes. Brush gently along the coronet band to lift mud out of the hair without pressing on the sensitive area.

How do I clean the brush itself?
Knock it out after use and rinse it in clean water when it gets caked, then let it dry with the bristles facing down.
