Grey parrot, cockatoo and Amazon - the colourful feathered birds are fascinating animals and sometimes amazingly large, intelligent house inhabitants. To ensure that your pets are doing well, you should always choose a species-appropriate food that meets the natural nutritional needs of your birds. The Parrot Food Special from Leimüller is a natural and selected mixed food for all parrots, cockatoos and Amazons. Selected raw materials such as tasty sunflower seeds, maize and a variety of small seeds are a popular and balanced snack for the birds. The feed mix contains less cereals and sunflower seeds than our Classic parrot food. As parrots also have a high demand for minerals, especially calcium, to strengthen their feathers and bones, the bird food has been enriched with them. Of course, the delicious mixture is free of any additives, which have no place in a species-appropriate parrot food.

The traditional brand Leimüller is very familiar with the nutritional needs of parrots. The quality and regular control of the parrot food is particularly important. For this purpose, annual certifications and constant internal improvement processes are carried out. Leimüller is certified according to the AMA seal of quality (pastus+), QS and GMO-free production. The domestic raw materials for the bird feed are sourced from the region. The feed is carefully packed and delivered in a tear-proof, environmentally friendly paper bag.

Feeding recommendation:

Offer the birds the bird food in a bowl or feeder for free consumption. Hygiene at the feeding place is particularly important. Therefore, place the bowl well protected against contamination by droppings, dirt and water (do not place the bowl under seats). Only fill the bowl with as much food as the birds can eat in one day. This effectively prevents the growth of mould, pathogens or similar.
