Cit Mite Fogger: Effective Control of Poultry Mites in Small Coops

The Cit Mite Fogger is designed for targeted control of the poultry red mite in small coops and hutches. The self-emptying mite fog spreads independently throughout the room, reaching even hard-to-access hiding spots in cracks and crevices.

A combination of natural pyrethrum and S-methoprene delivers an immediate and long-lasting effect against poultry mites. Treated surfaces and objects have a deterrent effect on insects, so bedding should not be changed after treatment – this helps maintain protection against mites for longer.

Application & Notes:

• Temporarily remove animals and cover any uncovered feed
• Close doors, windows and other openings in the room
• Place the fogger centrally in the room, ideally raised, on a protected surface
• Press the button until it locks in place, then leave the room
• Keep the room closed for around one hour, then ventilate well
• Do not replace bedding or treated surfaces after use
• Repeat treatment after 4-5 days to catch newly hatched mites
• Keep away from open flames and hot surfaces; do not puncture or burn
• Store in a cool place away from direct sunlight
