The Feed Ball keeps your animals occupied while encouraging a slow, natural way of eating hay. Horses, ponies and calves pluck hay from 19 feeding openings, making it ideal for use in the stable, on pasture or in the paddock – and well suited to group housing.
Made from stable, UV-resistant plastic, the ball holds up to 3 kg of hay and is filled via the 116 mm opening with screw cap. For safe use as an enrichment toy, we recommend hanging it from a rope or chain using a suitable strap. Calves in particular enjoy interacting with the swinging ball.

Can I leave the ball on the ground unattended?
On the ground, the ball should only be used under supervision, as animals may bite into the openings or injure themselves. For safe long-term use, we recommend hanging it up.
Which feeding opening suits my pony?
For ponies and small horses, the 40 mm opening (purple) is better suited, while larger horses cope well with the 60 mm version.
What can I fill the ball with?
The ball is designed for hay and can be easily filled and emptied via the screw-cap opening.

Fressball
Grundsätzlich eine tolle Sache. Würde ihm 5 Sterne geben. Den Abzug gibt es, weil leider die Größe der Fessöffnung nicht stimmt. Wir haben schon einen Ball, der 60 mm Fressöffnungen hat. Die Fressöffnungen von diesem Ball sind leider nur 40 mm... Das ist doch sehr klein.
