Goats, alpacas and llamas belong to the animal species that are very difficult to herd. An electric fence makes little impression on llamas and alpacas, because their dense, thick coat conducts electricity impulses poorly and they feel little or no electric shocks. Goats, on the other hand, are very cunning, curious and quickly find a way to slip through the electric fence in normal fencing systems without netting. For optimal herding protection, future owners should create a secure, reliable fencing system.
Friends of goats, alpacas or llamas will get everything they need for a secure fence for these hard to herd animals with this goat fence complete set. The goat fence set is perfectly suitable for hornless goats, alpacas & llamas of all sizes and is ready for immediate use.
The goat fence is particularly safe to herd thanks to the powerful DUO 3000 electric fence. You can operate the device both stationary with 230 V and very flexibly mobile with a 12 V AGM battery (AGM 88-110Ah, not included). Thanks to the wide range of possible uses, a 25 watt solar module can be connected to the grazing unit if required.
The complete set also includes a green 50 m goat net. The robust net is 108 cm high and is held by 14 plastic stakes with a double tip. This double spike provides more stability in earthy & sandy soils compared to a single spike. Of the nine plastic strands, the top eight are live. The bottom strand is not live so as not to interrupt the flow of current through grasses. The goat net has particularly narrow meshes that make it even more difficult for your grazing animals to escape. For fencing larger grazing areas, you can easily extend the goat net with other nets. Optimum current flow is also ensured when several electronic nets are strung together up to a maximum length of approx. 600 m (without vegetation).
The comprehensive complete set is supplemented by a fence tester for checking the fence voltage. Also included in the set is a warning sign for the fence, because pasture fence owners must point out their electric fence for safety reasons. All necessary connection cables and several premium ground stakes are of course also included.
