Gutter heating cable: reliable frost protection for gutters and pipes
This plug-in heating cable for gutters and pipes meets the requirements of strength class M2 according to IEC60800:2009, keeping gutters and downpipes safely free of frost. With a heating output of 20 watts per metre, the cable reliably prevents ice build-up and blockages even at very low temperatures.
The integrated thermostat switches the heating cable on automatically at +3 °C and off again at +12 °C, ensuring energy-efficient operation without any manual intervention. The cable is suitable for metal pipes up to 40 mm in diameter and connects via an earthing contact plug, so installation doesn't require a qualified electrician. Note: the cable should be unplugged during summer months, as it's designed solely for frost protection.
