The riding arena and perforated mats are perfect for laying the foundation for a permanently functional and non-slip floor attachment. Instead of paving or concreting everything in the hay rack area, the perforated mats for fixing the floor are an inexpensive and labor-saving solution.
The riding arena, perforated & drainage mat is a very dimensionally stable and pressure-resistant, closed drainage mat made of soft PVC. It acts as a drainage with very high water drainage and thus ensures a horse-friendly, mud-free outlet. Due to the special arrangement of the drainage channels, any water that occurs under the perforated mat is drained away. The material does not rot and is resistant to aging. Moisture that seeps in through the pavement construction is effectively removed by the drainage surface formed by the structure.
The perforated rubber mats drain the ground extremely effectively and better than conventional paddock panels due to the integrated cross drainage. Due to the special arrangement of the drainage channels, any water that occurs can also be drained away under the mat. The space between the structural membrane and the drainage surface enables an air cushion that absorbs footfall, noise and heat, protects the seal from thermal stress and also ensures that the load is evenly distributed on the seal. Both constructions with screed in connection with tiles or slabs as a top layer, as well as constructions with gravel, chippings or pedestals are possible.
The mats are also specially designed for the needs of professional riding arena construction. The mats reduce the risk of slipping and thus considerably reduce the risk of injury. The mat design is designed and structured in such a way that an optimized level of moisture is achieved and excess water is drained into the substructure through a sophisticated drainage effect. The riding arena, perforated and drainage mats are laid using a "butt to butt" method. Thanks to the soft PVC used, the riding arena, perforated and drainage mats can also be easily cut to size.
A big advantage of these paddock and riding arena plates is that they can be combined with the stable rubber mat (Art: 26730). For example, in an open stable, areas with the paddock / perforated mat can be made water-draining and other areas, e.g. the feeding areas on hay racks, can be attached in such a way that the surface is also easy to clean.
