CosyHeat Chick Heating Plate – cosy warmth instead of a heat lamp
After hatching, chicks need one thing above all: reliable warmth. In natural brooding, the mother hen provides this under her feathers. The CosyHeat heating plate recreates this principle and reliably replaces the mother hen during chick rearing.
The plate radiates heat downwards, creating a cosy heat cushion underneath. Chicks hatch beneath it and rest in constant, cosy warmth without any disturbing light. This helps them settle into a healthy day-night rhythm and reduces stress behaviour such as feather pecking. An integrated rotary control adjusts the temperature steplessly, while the thermostat then keeps it constant – considerably more energy-efficient than conventional heat lamps.
