The Mastitis Detector is an innovative device that allows you to detect changes in milk before acute udder infection (mastitis) occurs. Based on the latest research, it has been proven that the salt content in milk increases sharply with the onset of mastitis infection. This is where the Mastitis Detector comes in, by measuring the electrical resistance of the milk from each udder quarter. The salt content or electrical resistance thus serves as a reliable indicator of possible mastitis.

An outstanding feature of the Mastitis Detector is its ability to detect changes in the milk long before other clinical signs and symptoms are observed in the animal. This allows the Mastitis Detector to make an early diagnosis of subclinical mastitis, before the animal is seriously affected.

Its waterproof housing allows it to be used both indoors and outdoors. The device is portable and can easily be taken anywhere it is needed. The large LED display of the detector shows the measurement results of all udder quarters at the same time, making it easy to compare the values.

To ensure complete monitoring and evaluation, the measurement results can be transferred to your computer and stored using the USB cable provided. The Mastitis Detector has an internal memory for 250 animals and 200,000 measurements, each with date and time. So you can keep track and use the data for later interpretation.

The Mastitis Detector is supplied with a battery and is ready for immediate use.
