The BUSSE Turnout Rug ACTIVE PRO is your reliable companion for stable, paddock and field. As a rain rug with light insulation, it regulates climate and helps prevent condensation – ideal for year-round use. When the weather changes, the rug stays flexible: it can be combined with different liners and a neck cover to adapt to any situation.
The hard-wearing outer material made from 840 denier nylon double ripstop is extra tear-resistant and performance-tested. Inside, the DRYsense lining provides a coat-friendly, quick-drying feel – the rug stays dry on the inside, even if temporarily removed from the horse. The comfort chest design gives the shoulder plenty of room, while the V-Quick-Snap closure with double Velcro fastens securely and opens quickly. Practical extras include the length-adjustable cross surcingles, the elastic hindquarter fixation with dirt protection, and the padded, generous tail flap.

For the final adjustment of a horse blanket, the adjustment options on the product should be used, as incorrect application can lead to damage. Even with optimal adjustment, regular checks of the fit are essential. Check that the blanket fits correctly, the Velcro fasteners are clean (to avoid chafing) and the blanket is intact.
Depending on the weather conditions, the right blanket model should be chosen to protect the horse from overheating or cold. Instructions on the washing process
You can wash your blanket on a gentle cycle at 30° with a suitable blanket detergent. The blanket should have enough space in the washing machine. Make sure to close all fasteners on the blankets before washing. Even when closed, components of the blanket can damage the washing machine during the washing process. To prevent this, buckles in particular should be removed or padded so that they are machine washable. Horse blankets should be spun at a maximum of 600-800 revolutions/minute.
