The Wintec 2000 Wide general purpose saddle is built for horses with a broad back, such as draught horses, Haflingers or sturdy leisure horses. It comes fitted with the lilac wide gullet plate in gullet width 36. The soft, grippy seat gives you a secure position, even on long hacks.
The CAIR air panel system replaces conventional flocking with air. Each panel has two separate air chambers that adapt to your horse's back muscles and distribute your weight evenly. The Elastiflex tree flexes laterally while maintaining wither clearance. With the EASY-CHANGE system you swap the gullet plate whenever your horse's musculature changes. Important: only wide gullet plates (light lilac to purple) may be fitted to this wide saddle.

The saddle is supplied with the lilac wide gullet plate in gullet width 36. Use the WINTEC gullet measuring tool to find out which gullet plate suits your horse and swap it via the EASY-CHANGE system if needed.
Can I fit a standard gullet plate to the wide saddle?
No. Only wide gullet plates (light lilac to purple) may be fitted to wide saddles. A standard gullet plate can deform the Elastiflex tree, and such damage is not covered by the manufacturer's warranty.
How do I care for the saddle?
The synthetic material is weatherproof. Simply wipe off dirt with a damp cloth or rinse it off with water.
