The Keralit Hoof Strengthener makes hoof horn stronger and significantly more hard-wearing, whether your horse is barefoot or shod. It stabilises the horn around the white line, bearing edge and sole, giving hooves the resilience they need to cope with everyday wear on the yard and in the field.

Harmful bacteria and fungi can no longer break down the treated horn, and horn-destroying substances such as ammonia and hydrogen sulphide from stable bedding are neutralised. Horn abrasion in barefoot horses is greatly reduced, while shod horses benefit from firmer-sitting shoes and nail holes that no longer rip out. Clean the hoof with a hard, dry brush before use; best results are achieved when the strengthener is applied to a dry or only slightly damp hoof.
