The Waldhausen DUO haynet carries two different mesh sizes, one on each side: 3 cm for very slow feeding and 5 cm for a quicker option. Simply turn the net over and you match the eating speed to the horse in front of you, without buying a second net.

The knotless weave is gentle on teeth and gums and still stands up to hard use. The rectangular shape fills quickly and hangs wherever you need it, in the stable, out on the field or in the lorry. Heat resistant to 100 degrees Celsius, it goes through a hay steamer for low-dust feeding.

Questions & answers:

What are the two mesh sizes for?
The 3 cm side slows feeding noticeably and suits horses that clear their hay far too quickly. The 5 cm side is the faster option, for example for older horses or horses with sensitive teeth.

Why knotless?
Knots are hard and rub against teeth and gums with every pull. A knotless net gives instead, which is kinder to the mouth without losing durability.

Can I steam hay in this net?
Yes. The material is heat resistant to 100 degrees Celsius and works with common hay steamers.
