Can I use it as a cooler after riding?
Yes. That is one of its main jobs. The fleece moves moisture away from the coat while keeping the horse warm as it dries off.

Is it warm enough on its own in winter?
On mild nights in a stable, usually yes. In real cold it works better as an underlayer beneath a heavier rug.

How do I wash it?
Brush off loose hair first and wash it on a gentle programme with a mild detergent. Skip the fabric softener, which reduces how well fleece wicks.
