How much hard feed do geese need in summer?
On good pasture geese meet a large part of their needs themselves in summer. A small evening portion of grain or pellets is then usually enough to lure them back into the house. Laying geese and young birds need a little more.

Can I feed geese and chickens together?
They can share a meadow, but it makes sense to keep their feed separate. Layers feed for chickens contains a lot of calcium, whereas geese do better on energy-rich grain and plenty of greens. So feed them in separate places or at different times.
