What is the difference between pasteurizing and sterilizing?
Pasteurizing heats milk briefly to approx. 72–75 °C (or gently at 63 °C for 30 min) to kill pathogens while preserving vitamins and taste. Sterilizing heats milk above 100 °C, making it shelf-stable for a long time but altering the taste.
Can I preserve fruit juice with this device?
Yes, our pasteurizers are true multi-purpose kettles. They are excellent for preserving fruit and vegetable juices by heating, or even for canning fruits.
What is the mixer for?
