Fit and care
The belt should fasten on the middle hole so you have room to adjust either way. Make sure the width suits the belt loops on your breeches. Look after leather belts now and then with a little leather care so they do not become brittle. Let a wet leather belt dry in the air, not on the radiator. Stretch belts can usually just be washed by hand in lukewarm water and left to dry flat.

Is a belt compulsory at competitions?
