How much must the strips overlap?
For optimal protection against drafts, the individual PVC strips should overlap by at least five to ten centimetres, depending on the wind load and hanging height. This way, they only open when an animal passes through and immediately close tightly again.
Can the strips drag on the floor?
No, the strips should end about two to four centimetres above the floor. If they drag in the dirt, they wear out faster, freeze to the damp floor in winter, or the cattle accidentally step on them and tear them off.
