Automatic Chicken Door Basic Set incl. Manual Control. With the automatic chicken door basic, taking care of your chickens becomes even easier and more convenient. Thanks to the daylight-dependent control with light sensor, the chicken flap opens and closes automatically without you having to do anything. The light sensor with 1 m cable length allows flexible mounting of the control indoors. In addition to the automatic control, the chicken door basic set also includes a manual control via an external switch. This is equipped with a 5 m long cable so that the switch can be attached anywhere around the chicken coop. Once the chicken flap has been opened manually, it remains open and closes again automatically in the evening when darkness falls. If the chicken door was closed manually, it remains closed until the next morning and then opens automatically. The control opens and closes a slider weight of at least 0.5 kg and a maximum of 2.5 kg, which is sufficient for most chicken houses. The automatic chicken flap is operated with 4 x AA Mignon batteries, which are, however, not included in the scope of delivery. The device is maintenance-free, but should be cleaned thoroughly on a regular basis. I Safety functions: To prevent accidental opening in the event of flashing lights or short-term brightness such as headlights, the light signal is provided with a delay. If an animal blocks the slider during the closing process, the unit automatically stops the process and then resumes it to prevent injury to the animals. The automatic shut-off in case of motor overload provides additional safety and prevents damage to the chicken flap.
