The MultiSafeVario® Welding helmet "ART" can be used for all common welding and grinding work. Optimal for MMA electrode welding, MIG/MAG and TIG/TIG inert gas welding, plasma cutting and grinding processes. The automatic welding helmet reliably protects the eyes and face from ARC radiation and provides perfect shielding of the head and neck from metal spatter, welding and grinding sparks. Due to the adjustable headband with snap-in mechanism the shield can be comfortably adjusted to the head size. It offers thanks to UpandDown mechanism a center of gravity optimization when opening and closing the visor.
The brightness level of the large field of view (98 x 55 cm) enables a continuous welding process with the helmet closed. From electrode attachment and ignition to weld inspection, electrode change and material handling, the visor can remain down. Accidental 'flashing' such as during tacking is eliminated.
When the ARC is ignited, the large field of vision of the welding shield is within a very short time automatically darkened. The welding process can be observed without glare. The internal, adjustable delay/brightening delay ensures that the anti-glare cassette remains sufficiently closed after the light curtain is switched off to prevent the eyes from being blinded by the afterglow of the weld seam.
The protection level (degree of darkening for optimum vision, depending on the welding process or arc intensity) and the response (sensitivity) of the field of vision can be continuously adjustable at any time by means of controls on the outside of the helmet - one hand remains free for the welding torch.
